Now that football season is under way, it’s time to gather friends and family over for games.  We’ve found a few quick and easy food recipes to keep in mind for your next football party.

7 Layer Bean Dip

If you want something easy and tasty, then this is the way to go. Simply layer the dip in this order:

  • Bean Dip (or refried beans)
  • Guacamole
  • Sour Cream
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Olives
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

The nice thing about this is that you can buy all the ingredients already prepared and you can just throw it together with a bag of chips.

Chicken Wings

You can make this with whatever sauce you prefer, be it BBQ sauce, buffalo or other flavors. Simply put the sauce in a bowl, mix with the chicken wings and let them marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Before your party, grill them until they are done and coat them with a little more sauce.

Football Turnovers

You will need two premade pie crusts which you can find in the refrigerated section of your grocery store.  Pull out a biscuit cutter or drinking glass to make circles.  Get creative with what you want inside your turnover, such as meatballs and sauce, ham and cheese or something sweet. Put the filling on one side and fold over and crimp the edges. Follow the directions for the pie crust for baking in the oven.
