Grab a Bowl and a Spoon and Get Ready for the Woodland Chamber of Commerce’s Chili Cook-Off

If you love chili and live in the Woodland area, then the 16th annual Woodland Chili Cook-Off is something you should not miss.   And here’s what you need to know to attend this fun event.

Event Details

The event will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Yolo County Fairgrounds. The event starts at 11 AM. There will be live entertainment throughout the day provided by Highway 16. There will be craft and food vendors selling chili, hot dogs and other concessions.

You Can be a Judge

You can buy a tasting kit which includes a ballot so you can vote for your favorite chili, salsa and motorcycle. An official panel of judges will decide the winner of the 2013 Throwdown competition, but you can determine the winner of the People’s Choice awards. The cost for tasting kits are $10 and kids 10 and under can get their kit for $5.  Fun day for the whole family.
