Guinness Stout Cupcakes Recipe

If you are looking for a treat this St. Patrick’s Day, try this recipe for Guinness Cupcakes that is simply the best.

•One bottle of Guinness Stout

•1/2 of a cup of milk (whole)

•1/2 cup of vegetable oil

•1 Tbsp. of extract of vanilla

•3 eggs (large)

•3/4 cup of sour cream

•2 1/2 cups of white, all-purpose flour

•2 cups sugar

•3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

•1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

•1/2 teaspoon Salt (fine)

Whisk together the Guinness Stout, milk, oil, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Next, whisk in the eggs, and then the sour cream.

In another bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and the salt. Fold this dry mixture into the wet Guinness Stout mixture.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Next divide the batter among the cupcake liners and bake for 20-25 minutes. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Make sure to let them cool before removing. Add the icing of your choice.
