Reminders for the Spring Time Change

It is time to “spring forward” again this early Sunday morning as Daylight Savings Time returns. While we gain an hour of daylight in the evenings, you should keep in mind that it will stay a bit darker in the mornings. This is important to keep in mind as some school children may be walking and traveling to school in the dark.

The change to Daylight Savings Time should prompt a couple of other reminders. You should remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and it is a good time to rid your house of expired medicines.

While we lose that hour this weekend, most people enjoy the time change as it signals that summer is around the corner. Remember to move your clock forward an hour this Sunday morning at 2:00 a.m.
