Plans of Coverage

Revenue Protection

Offers crop coverage based on projected commodity prices, covering losses from natural disasters, price fluctuations, and other unavoidable risks. Coverage levels range from 50% to 85%, with additional protection if market prices exceed the projected price.

Yield Protection

Offers coverage against crop production losses for growers who choose not to select revenue protection. Coverage is based on the approved yield and selected coverage level, ranging from 50% to 85%.

Actual Production History (APH)

Protects growers against yield or quality losses due to specified perils, based on their past production history. Coverage levels range from 50% to 85% of the APH yield, with indemnity for production losses caused by insurable events.

Annual Forage

Provides coverage to acreage that is planted each year and used as feed and fodder by livestock. This pilot program utilizes the Rainfall Index to correlate to this acreage. Available in counties in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Texas.
